SOM, together with MMQSMACE, Heri Prop Co. & Tiber co-developed the new head office for Airports Company South Africa. This four-star Green Star rated building was completed during 2021 and consists of 3 state-of-the-art wings which have been designed by Paragon Architects.

In conjunction with Giflo and Abland, the first building in the Irene Link Precinct, Building A, was completed in April 2019 and initially tenanted by Barloworld Logistics as their head office. This stylish and modern development of approximately 5 700sqm received a 5-star rating awarded by the Green Building Council of South Africa.

Following the development of the Building A, Building B is the second office premises constructed in the Irene precinct. Possessing its own unique visual identity that is complementary to the rest of the precinct, Building B is already fully occupied with multiple tenants.

Building C, located on a highly visible corner site in the Irene Precinct featuring bold architectural lines, was completed in April 2023.

The fourth commercial building in the Irene Link precinct, Building D, has become Avbob’s new headquarters. This 11 500 sqm development of stylish and modern office space, was completed at the end of 2023. Building D features a strong architectural identity as well as a 4-star Green Star rating.
