SOM’s residential division specializes in the acquisition and development of affordable rental properties in major cities within Southern Africa. Our projects encompass greenfields developments, office conversions and redevelopments of existing resi complexes. The latter involves a range of enhancements, from increasing building density to revitalizing existing structures and initiating fresh, eco-friendly developments which adds to urban regeneration.

SOM controls projects from inception through to operation, including development management, construction management, asset management and property management, the last-mentioned through its subsidiary, Up My Street Properties led by Edelweiss Gray.  Up My Street has an extensive and successful track record in managing rental properties professionally.
